Do you need to provide add products and quantities to the shopping cart for site visitors using a url? How about automatically applying a coupon code via url? Our plugin does both, even at the same time.
This is especially valuable for promotions such as email campaigns, PPC promos, etc. or to give a customer a link via live chat to add something to their cart with a discount applied!
NOTE: Your products need SKUs in order for this to work. If your products do not already use SKUs you can add them by going here: Products > Pick a Product > Scroll Down to “Product data” > Click on “Inventory” > Add a SKU > Update the Product
There are two parts to adding products to the cart:
To add a quantity 1 of SKU 777-O add ?sku=777-O&quant=1 to any url
To add a quantity 2 of SKU 777-O and a quantity 4 of SKU 999-B add ?sku=777-O,999-B&quant=2,4 to any url
NOTE: Create the coupon code before testing. You can do this like this: Hove over “WooCommerce” > Click “Coupons” > Click “Add coupon” > Set up Your Coupon and Click “Publish”
Add ?coupon=typecouponcodehere to any url.
NOTE: You need to create the coupon code before testing and your products need SKUs in order for this to work.
We are simply combining the two functions above with an ampersand “&”
To add a quantity 2 of SKU 777-O and a quantity 4 of SKU 999-B and coupon code save10 add ?sku=777-O,999-B&quant=2,4&coupon=save10 to any url.
